Not that it should come to any surprise, but Briere renewed his contract with Eisbaren Berlin.. which would keep him there for the rest of their season should the NHL cancel the season here.

Speaking of that, what is your gut telling you Bill? Do we get the abbreviated season or no season at all?

Yes, my gut feeling is still an abbreviated season. Getting concerned, though, that it may not even be in January. I think they may end up settling for something less than 48-52 games.

I just want to see some NHL hockey. I watched the Canada-Germany game last night (replay)... it is hockey and it does help, but its not the same. I miss laying in my basement just kicking back watching the game!

The NHL and NHLPA can't keep doing this every time a CBA is needed. This time they might not have as easy of a time getting us back in the seats or buying merchandise.

I was so excited to see the young guys this season. To see how Both Schenns brothers would make out. See Couts with a bigger role. See if Voraczech could take that next step on G's line.

Hey Bill is Ghost the real deal? From what ive seen he has a bright future. If he was bigger in size and same skillset he would have gone first round for sure.

Was it his, or did it go off of JT Miller?

Yes, he's the real deal. Will definitely be a pro if he stays healthy. Still needs to add muscle.

Hey Glucky,

I know L Schenn is right handed. Has he ever been used on the power play? How did that turn out?
